The Maze Runner
The Maze Runner is a wonderful book. As you probably know, the movie is coming out in a couple of months. It is a great book, about a bunch of boys who get their memories wiped, and are trapped in a giant maze (hence the name). Thomas, the main character, is the last boy to arrive, and the next day, a girl arrives, the first girl to ever come to the Maze. The Gladers (the boys who "live" there) have been trying to solve the Maze for two years, but they have not found a solution. When Thomas and the girl, Teresa, arrive, everything starts to change. The Walls surrounding the Maze stop closing every night, causing the bloodthirsty monsters in the Maze, Grievers, to eat one boy every night. This causes the boys and girl to try harder in the Maze, and finally,Thomas makes a giant sacrifice to help get some of his memories back and find the exit, therefore facing death.
