In this new year, many people believe that in some way, all beings on Earth will perish. Some people believe that tidal waves will attack the land. This is because glaciers in the polar regions are starting to melt, and may also cause flooding of the world. Others believe that global warming will affect the natural course of the planet. The reason global warming is happening is because so many people are polluting the air around us. Some more people believe that natural disasters, such as earthquakes and hurricanes, will kill all of us. Even so, I don't think any of these will happen. The world may be thrown off balance by the humans, but it definitely won't manage to destroy all of us.
